Dogs In Parks And Special Use Permit On FDL City Council Agenda

The Fond du Lac City Council this evening will consider amending a City ordinance that currently allows dogs in city parks. The Council will be asked to consider two options. One option would allow dogs in all parks except in the Lakeside Park playground area and near the animal pens. Another option would be the same except for excluding dogs in Buttermilk Park. The Council will also consider approving a special use permit for the construction of a 65-room Fairfield Inn & Suites on South Rolling Meadows Drive north of the Rolling Meadows Restaurant. The Council meets at 6 p.m. at the City-County Government Center.
