Donations Milling Explosion

Several fundraisers are planned to help the victims of last Wednesday’s deadly explosion at Didion Milling in Cambria. This Saturday, the Cambria Park Committee is holding a silent auction during their June Tournament at Cambria’s Tarrant Park. T-Shirt International is donating 500 “Cambria Has Heart” t-shirts that are currently being printed and will be sold for $20. The First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry is collecting items including diapers, toiletries and gas cards. The Columbus Pick ‘n Save has volunteered to cater a benefit chicken dinner at the Cambria-Friesland School on Saturday, July 15. The proceeds from those fundraisers will go to an account established by the village at the National Exchange Bank in Cambria.
