Donations, Volunteers Still Needed in FDL Flood Cleanup
Fond du Lac County is partnering with the Fond du Lac Area United Way and the Fond du Lac Area Foundation to facilitate a long-term recovery grant program for flood recovery. 100% of donations made to the organizations that are directed to go toward flood relief are being used to provide financial assistance through the program. People are encouraged to donate to either the United Way or the Fond du Lac Area Foundation via mail (addresses below) or at these links (United Way) (Foundation). People needing assistance are asked to complete an application for the grant program. That application form can be found here, or can be picked up at the United Way Offices.
The United Way has closed its Volunteer Reception Center, but the need for volunteers to help with cleanup is still ongoing. People or groups interested in helping can call the United Way at 920-921-7010 or go to their website for more information and assistance.
