Double shooting/homicide reported in Sheboygan

City of Sheboygan police are investigating a double shooting that occurred Saturday night, January 17, 2026.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. officers responded to a report of the shooting inside a residence located in the 1300 block of S. 10th Street involving multiple victims.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male and an 18-year-old female who had both sustained gunshot wounds. Officers and emergency medical personnel rendered aid to both victims with the 19-year-old male being transported to Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, where despite lifesaving efforts, he would succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The female was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital subsequently transferred to a hospital in Green Bay.

Police say the the suspects had fled the scene prior to their arrival. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, and officers are actively working to identify those involved. Preliminary information indicates that all parties involved were known to one another and that this was an isolated incident with no known threat to the general public.
