Drive-Thru Testing Tomorrow In Fond du Lac
Another round of public COVID-19 drive-thru testing is set for tomorrow at the Fairgounds in Fond du Lac. The official count last was 448 tests, with the last of the cars jumping in line at 3:30. The wait time last week averaged about 90 minutes, and Fond du Lac County Director of Communications and Emergency Management, Bobbi Hicken, told KFIZ News the reason they were able to do so many tests was due to so many people pre-registering.
Hicken estimated at least 90% of the people who participated last week had pre-registered. Hicken also was hopeful they might be able to have more tests on hand tomorrow, but said that’s based on the availability of more guard members and test kits. Hicken reminds those planning to attend that there are no public bathroom facilities available, so make sure to plan ahead before you leave the house. The testing runs from 11a-7p, or until the test kits run out. You can pre-register at register dot covid connect dot wi dot gov.
