Drug Drop At FDL Senior Center Wednesday

The Fond du Lac Police Department, Drug Free Communities of Fond du Lac County and the Fond du Lac Senior Center are partnering to sponsor a drug take back event Wednesday at the Senior Center. Ellen Sorensen of Drug Free Communities says one of their board members came up with the idea of including the Senior Center in a drug drop. Police Officer Erik Foster says there will even be a drive up at the Senior Center to make it more convenient.The DEA takes care of disposal of the old and unused prescription drugs. Hours for the drug drop off are from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  The event will kick off the fall Drug Drop Awareness campaign which runs until Saturday, October 28.
