Drugs Found After Overnight Fond du Lac County Pursuit

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies took a 45-year-old Glendale man into custody after he led officers on a slow speed pursuit overnight.

Just before 2:30 AM, an officer attempted to stop the vehicle for several traffic violations on County Hwy TC at Dehring Rd in the Town of Lamartine.

The vehicle slowed slightly, but didn’t stop for the Deputy’s emergency lights and siren.

The vehicle continued westbound on TC at varying speeds.

The pursuing deputy noticed the driver begin throwing items out of the vehicle during the pursuit, and was able to note the location of the items.

The vehicle came to a stop on TC, west of Highway 26.

A High-Risk stop was conducted once other officers arrived on scene. The driver was taken into custody without incident.

The pursuit lasted approximately 3.5 miles.

Deputies were able to locate the items the driver threw from the vehicle with the assistance of 2 Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office K9 officers.

The driver was arrested for fleeing an officer, possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, and a warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The Wisconsin State Patrol, Waupun Police Department, and Ripon Police Department assisted with this pursuit.
