Drunk, wrong way driver, arrested in Fond du Lac County

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies stopped an intoxicated driver Sunday night, October 27, 2024, that was going the wrong direction on Highway 151.

Just before midnight, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office notified Fond du Lac County of a call reporting a pick up truck travelling north, in the southbound lanes of the highway.

Officers saturated the area and came upon the truck still in the wrong lanes, going between 20 and 40 mph.

Officers pulled the vehicle over, and after a field sobriety test, the driver was placed under arrest for their 2nd operating while intoxicated charge.
