EAA to open campground for NFL Draft attendees

Demand for places to stay during the NFL 2025 draft in Green Bay has EAA officials making a decision to open their Camp Scholler area around that time.

EAA says they plan to open about 1000 campsites for a 10 day period from April 19-29th.

The draft takes place April 24th through the 26th and is expected to draw about 250,000 attendees, which will nearly triple the population of Green Bay. EAA Director of Communications Dick Knapinski says the decision came after seeing campgrounds succeed in attracting campers during the 2024 draft in the Detroit area.

The campsites available are open in the drive in portion of the campground, but now that the facility is offering camping, some people are asking if they can fly to the airport and camp. That option is still being looked into.

Starting today campsites can be reserved through the EAA website. Each campsite is available from April 19-29, with a three-night minimum at $175 per night. This includes electric and water hook ups for campers.
