Eight men arrested in Oshkosh for human trafficking related charges

The Oshkosh Police Department has taken eight men into custody Thursday, April 24, 2025, as part of an undercover human trafficking investigation in Oshkosh to coincide with the NFL Draft.

The men range in age from 20 to 48 years old are from Oshkosh, Appleton, Clintonville, Oakfield, Wautoma and Florida.

The Oshkosh Police Department worked with The Damascus Road Project’s “Blitz the Draft” to make hotels, motels, gas stations and convenience stores aware of red flags of human trafficking.

The investigation was carried out by Vice and Narcotics Unit working with detectives and patrol officers.

Police say they’ll continue working with community advocacy groups to raise awareness of trafficking, especially during large events.
