Elections Commission Warns About Voter Registration Scams

The Wisconsin Elections Commission is warning residents as
scams have begun popping up in several states – targeting people who are
looking to register to vote. The scammers tell the victims to register over the
phone – where they gain personal information before hanging up. 

The Elections
Commission says the scam has yet to hit Wisconsin
– but they want residents to be aware. They add that you cannot register to
vote over the phone, even with a legitimate employee. For information on how
