Elective Surgeries Back On At ThedaCare

ThedaCare will be resuming elective surgeries after having to put those on hold.

The hospital system announced two weeks ago that they were too short on staff and beds to allow for proper treatment of patients getting non-emergency, in-patient surgeries.

Now, that hold is being lifted as the system and the rest of the state see fewer people in the hospital for acute COVID symptoms. Staff will be working with patients who had to have their treatments postponed to get them back on the schedule.
