Envision Greater Fond du Lac Celebrates Family Connect’s First Year with Ribbon Cutting
Envision Greater Fond du Lac proudly partnered with Family Connect of Wisconsin last week to celebrate a major milestone: one year of impactful service through the Fond du Lac Community Network. The celebration, highlighted by a ribbon cutting ceremony, recognized the collective effort of volunteers, churches, businesses, nonprofits, and agency partners who support families in need.
Held at the Prairie Events Center, the event brought together leaders from across the community to honor the success and growth of Family Connect’s network in Fond du Lac County. Over the past year, the network has made a measurable difference -serving 287 children, fulfilling 118 needs requests, and generating more than $73,000 in donated goods and volunteer support.(Family Connect of Wisconsin)
Family Connect of Wisconsin launched the Fond du Lac Community Network in 2025 as one of its first networks in the state. By leveraging the CarePortal platform, the organization connects local churches, businesses, and community members with families experiencing financial hardship and social isolation. Through real-time requests submitted by agency caseworkers, community partners can respond with essential items and meaningful support.
Envision Greater Fond du Lac is proud to celebrate initiatives like Family Connect that foster collaboration, strengthen families, and enhance the overall well-being of the community.
“Family Connect exemplifies the power of collaboration and community-driven solutions,” said Sadie Howell, President/CEO at Envision Greater Fond du Lac. “Their work aligns closely with our mission to strengthen the Fond du Lac area by connecting people, resources, and opportunities. We are proud to celebrate this milestone alongside them and look forward to their continued impact.” Learn more at www.familyconnectwi.org
