Envision Greater Fond du Lac Leadership FDL County Alumni to host film viewing, Legends of the Knight

Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Leadership Fond du Lac County Alumni will host a viewing of the film, Legends of the Knight, on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the newly renovated Odyssey Fond du Lac 8 Theatre located at 1131 W. Scott Street in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Proceeds from this event will be distributed to food pantries in Fond du Lac County.

Legends of the Knight celebrates the potential all of us have to be heroic. The film tells the uplifting true stories of individuals who were inspired to overcome adversity and make a positive impact because of their childhood love of Batman. 

The filmmaker, Brett Culp, is an acclaimed filmmaker and social entrepreneur whose work has inspired audiences around the world.  He is the personal cinematographer for Hollywood stars, music icons, beloved authors, hall of fame athletes, and royal families.  His films have been featured on Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

“This is very exciting to be able to show a film the caliber of this one, right here in our community,” Tracy Qualmann, Senior Director of Marketing and Communication, Envision Greater Fond du Lac, and Leadership Fond du Lac County Alumni Advisory Committee, said. “A colleague of mine and I saw Brett speak at a convention and we knew immediately we wanted to bring this film to Fond du Lac.”

Legends of the Knight features interviews with fans including Dark Knight/Dark Knight Rises executive producer Michael Uslan, comic book writer Denny O’Neil, writer Gotham Chopra, and fellow pop-culture blogger Jill Pantozzi. The trailer will probably bring tears to your eyes.
