Fall colors in full swing around the area

With fall weather finally in the area, those looking to take in the fall colors can look to the website travelwisconsin.com for an interactive map that will highlight where colors are at their peak or when areas are expected to be at their peak.

The website also suggests it’s ideas of where the best places are around each county to see the colored leaves.

As of October 10th, 2024, Fond du Lac is listed as 50% to peak with expected peak to be the 4th week of October. Winnebago and Calumet Counties are listed at 65% peak and a short drive to Marquette County would give a viewer 80% of fall color available.
