Fatal Accident In FDL County

A 77-year-old Oshkosh man died after his motorcycle crashed into a car on Lakeshore Drive and Cottage Drive in the Town of Friendship last evening. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say the accident was reported shortly before 6 p.m. The motorcyclist was heading north and crossed over the center line. Twenty-seven-year-old Pa Houa Xiong of Fond du Lac was driving her car in the southbound lane when the bike hit her car. She was taken to St. Agnes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Oshkosh man died at the scene.  It was the County’s 6th traffic death of the year. Assisting at the scene were Van Dyne Fire Department, Van Dyne 1st Responders, North Fond du Lac Fire and North Fond du Lac Ambulance.  The crash still remains under investigation.
