Fatal Calumet County Crash

Calumet County Sheriff’s officials say a 30-year-old woman died and two teenagers were seriously hurt a two-vehicle crash Friday morning. It happened about 7 a.m. east of Hilbert on County Highway PP in the Town of Rantoul. Investigators say the woman’s car crossed over the centerline and hit a jeep being driven by a 16-year-old girl from Potter. The woman died, the teen and her 15-year-old passenger were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
