FDL Area Middle School Students to Participate in Career Connections Academy

Over 2,100 area middle school students will get an
opportunity to learn more about career options available to them during the
three-day Career Connections Academy that starts today in Fond du Lac. The program
is hosted by Envision Greater Fond du Lac, and takes place at Moraine Park
Technical College. During the academy, students can learn more about five
different career pathways – including agriculture, healthcare, service
industries, skilled trades and manufacturing and information technology. A news
release from Envision says over 65 area businesses will be represented during Career
Connections, with over 130 employees along with MPTC faculty members on hand to
talk with students. The Career Connections Academy runs through January 9^th.
