FDL City Council Approves Landscape Plan And Special Use Permit

The Fond du Lac City Council Wednesday night unanimously approved the Fond du Lac Bike Loop Landscape Master Plan. Public Works Director Jordan Skiff says it has been posted on the City’s website for a couple of weeks and there have been no major detractors for the plan and in fact it has the support of the Advisory Park Board, Art Board, and the Friends of the Fond du Lac Loop. He says approval of the plan does not commit the City Council to funding the recommendations in the plan. City Council President Karyn Merkel also complimented the plan. The Council also gave unanimous approval to Marian University’s request for a special use permit to expand their Science Education Building.
