FDL City Council Calls Special Meeting For Tuesday

FDL City Council has announced a special meeting for this coming Tuesday, set to get underway at 11:30 a.m. in the Windsor Room located inside the Retlaw Hotel in downtown FDL.

The agenda lists only one major item, that being continued review and discussion as it relates to the Lakeside Park Project, specifically land use and possible alternative sites for the multi-purpose building. Also included in that items will be discussion of the management and ownership of the building. The discussion will be administered by Fond du Lac City Manager Joe Moore.

Council voted earlier this week to pause the project until May 12, and it was suggested at the council meeting this week that a special meeting be set up. There’s been no indication given as to whether any members of the Lakeside Forward donor group or the Alternative Master Plan management team will be in attendance.
