FDL City Council Passes 2017 City Budget
The Fond du Lac City Council Wednesday evening unanimously passed a 5-year capital improvements plan, the 2017 Area Transit Budget, and the 2017 City Budget and Tax Levy. The Council approved all three resolutions by 7 to nothing votes. City Manager Joe Moore told the Council they removed the proposed Police and Fire Training Center from the CIP for 2017. He says the final version of the CIP is posted on the City’s website. He says the Tax Levy will amount to just over $25 million. The tax rate will be $9.51 per thousand dollars of value on a property or an increase of about $36 on a $100,000 home.
