FDL City Council Preview

The Fond du Lac City Council will finish up the selection of a Lakeside Park Exploratory Committee tonight. After the Council and Advisory Park Board selected their top candidates for the 15-member panel 10 people were selected and 7 finished tied after voting. The Council will randomly draw 5 names from that field of seven. Overall 41 people applied for the committee and others expressed an interest. Also during the meeting the Council will decide whether to place a referendum question on the November 4th ballot that is aimed at restoring campaign contribution limits that were struck down by the Supreme Court.
