FDL City Councilwoman Block Seeking New Term

Catherine Block is running for a third consecutive term on the Fond du Lac City Council. She says there are still things she would like to see accomplished. She says during her four years on the Council there have been a lot of changes in the City. She says they have done some proactive things in Lakeside Park and Downtown.  She believes the City is headed in the right direction, but she says there is still a lot of work to be done. She says she tries to listen to both sides of an issue before taking a vote. She says she would like to see people attend more of their various boards and committee meetings, where she says most of the work that goes before the Council gets done. Block says she does wish the Council would spend more time talking about serious issues. She says there are people dying from heroin and people who have to spend thousand of dollars on lead pipe replacement, yet they spent three meetings talking about pedal pubs. Block is one of five candidates running for three seats on the Council.
