FDL County Budget Hearing Tonight

The Fond du Lac County Board will hold a public hearing tonight for the proposed 2015 County Budget. The board meets at 7 p.m. at the City-County Government Center and will hold the hearing at 7:30. The proposed tax levy is $41.4 million an increase of $1.1 million The proposed tax rate is $6.11 per thousand dollars of value on a property, which is a 6 cent increase or about a 1 percent increase in the tax rate. County Executive Al Buechel says there will be no cuts in service or personnel for the County in 2015. Buechel will be a guest on the Morning Show today at 11:35 p.m.
