FDL Fire and Rescue Battles Fire in Vacant Home

Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue battled a house fire on Scott
Street early this morning. Firefighters were called to the home at 165 West
Scott Street just before 2:00 am – where they found smoke and flames coming
from the rear of the two-story home. The fire was quickly put out and contained
to a first floor stairwell. The home was vacant and under renovation at the
time of the fire – and a cause of the fire is still being determined. Fond du
Lac Police and Alliant Energy assisted at the scene.
