FDL Fire Chief Says Be Alert For Suspicious Activity

Following the recent arrest of a 43-year-old North Fond du Lac man on charges related to five suspicious fires in the area, residents are reminded of ways they can prevent similar situations from happening in the future. Fond du Lac Fire Chief Peter O’Leary tells KFIZ News that preventing fires from happening starts with being a good neighbor, and reporting anything suspicious in your neighborhood. Since most of the fires in this latest string happened in the overnight and early morning hours, O’Leary says its especially important to watch out for suspicious activity during that time.
