FDL Fire Dept South Main Station Gets Electronic Message Center

The Fond du Lac Fire Department has a new feature at its South Main Street station to help get out fire safety messages. This week the station added an electronic message center to catch the attention of passing motorists and pedestrians. Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says thousands pass by the station every day. O’Leary says the electronic message center is another tool that will help them get out fire prevention tips. He says the small snippets of information will direct the reader to the department’s website or elsewhere where they can get more detailed information on the subject.
