FDL High School Tennis Courts Ribbon Cutting

Fond du Lac High School’s tennis program scored an “ace” when the newly renovated tennis courts were officially opened after a ribbon cutting by the Board of Education on Monday, August 14.  Due to poor drainage the courts were damaged year over year because of the freezing and thawing that occurred underneath.  The Board committed to major renovations and the eight courts have been restored to prime condition.  Shown at left, John Williams, Facility Services Coordinator, and (right) Dave Michalkiewicz, Athletic Director, hold the ribbon as Board President Mark Jurgella cuts it while Board member Monica Walks assists and (L-R) Board member Mark Strand, Superintendent Dr. James Sebert and Board members Dr. Susan Jones and Linda Uselmann look on along with members of the FDL High School girls’ tennis team.
