FDL Man Arrested for Robbing a Marinette County Grocery Store

A 50-year-old Fond du Lac man has been arrested for robbing
a grocery store in Marinette County earlier this month. The Marinette County
Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Wednesday that Martin R. Bub, Jr. of Fond du Lac was
arrested for robbing the Piggly Wiggly in Coleman on August 10^th. Investigators
say Bub held up the store, and threatened to use a gun. He then ran from the
scene and left the area in a car. Bub is being held in the Winnebago County
Jail on a parole violation. He will make a court appearance in Marinette County
on a charge of Armed Robbery at a later date.
