FDL Man Charged For Drug Death

Bond has been set at $100,000 cash for a 41-year-old Fond du Lac man believed to be responsible for the drug overdose death of a Fond du Lac woman. Joshua Asencio was charged in Fond du Lac County Court Thursday with 1st degree reckless homicide. According to the criminal complaint Asencio allegedly provided the Fentanyl that led to 34-year-old Angela Cowling’s overdose last November 2nd. Asencio was in Cowling’s apartment at 110 North Berger Parkway when she overdosed and called 911. EMT’s tried to resuscitate her, but were unable to.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Friday.
