FDL Noon Kiwanis Pancake Day

The Fond du Lac Noon Kiwanis Club is holding their 58th Annual Pancake Day today at the American Legion Hall. Ann Calnin of the club says they use the money they raise to support different efforts throughout the year. Pancake Day raises about $20,000 for the programs they support in Fond du Lac including the Learn to Swim program at the YMCA and the snuggle packs for infants at St. Agnes Hospital. Over 1,000 people will be served during Pancake Day. Calnin urges those planning to attend not to wait until six o’clock tonight because by then there will be a line. Pancakes will be served until 7 p.m. In addition to the pancakes there will be a bake sale and 50/50 cash raffles. The Fond du Lac Noon Kiwanis celebrated their 100th Anniversary in August. Hours for Pancake Day are from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
