FDL PD Arrest Man In Possession Of Child Porn

One man has been arrested after a search warrant of a residence turned up child pornography.

The Fond du Lac Police Department executed a search warrant on 7th Street, in the City of Fond du Lac, WI., following a CyberTip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), about videos containing sexually explicit conduct of young children.

43-year old Rudy Daniel Oropeza was arrested and charged with three (3) counts of Possession of Child Pornography, which is a Class D Felony.

Additional charges are anticipated pending a forensic analysis of the digital evidence seized during this investigation.

Oropeza has a criminal history through Wisconsin and Texas and is currently being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $20,000.00 Cash Bond.
