FDL PD Investigating Reports Of Shots Fired

FDL PD is investigating an incident of shots being fired on the city’s west side.

Officers responded to reports just after noon on Monday, to an area in the 500 block of Washington Ave, just west of Hwy. 45 north, where multiple people said they had heard shots fired, but couldn’t tell exactly where they came from.

Just after 4:00 p.m. Monday, Officers took another call from a  27-year old male who reported he just got home from work, and noticed bullet holes in his window and in the drywall inside the house.

A number of locations in the area had surveillance cameras and officers are reviewing the footage to see if they can find the make and model of a white van or SUV that left the scene. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the FDL PD.
