FDL PD Searching For Female Following Hwy. 151 Crash

FDL Police are investigating an early Friday morning accident on the Hwy 151 Bypass. Officers responded to the northbound lane of 151, at 4:15 a.m., near the east Johnson St. exit, for reports of debris in the roadway. On the scene, officers found a vehicle with it’s roof kicked out. There were no occupants in the vehicle or near the vehicle, prompting FDL PD to employ a search drone, while shutting down the northbound lane to traffic. FDL Fire/Rescue also assisted as the scene. Officers were attempting to locate a female that was allegedly with the vehicle when it crashed. No further details were available as of this morning.
