FDL Police Department Twitter Account Hacked

The Fond du Lac Police Department’s Twitter account was compromised by a hacker or hackers over the weekend. Police say the tweets were inappropriate and in some cases used foul language. About three dozens tweets were posted beginning late Saturday night.  The Police Department is working with the City’s Information Technology staff and Twitter to correct the problem. KFIZ news spotted the inappropriate tweets early Sunday morning and informed the police department.
