FDL Police Hosting Sendoff For Officer Being Deployed To Afghanistan

The Fond du Lac Police Department will host a send off ceremony this afternoon for an officer who will be deployed to Afghanistan. Police Officer James Darnell is a Sergeant with the Wisconsin Army National Guard whose unit has been activated. He has been with the department for three years and has served as a member of the United States Army and Wisconsin Army National Guard for 6 ½ years. The ceremony is at 4:30 this afternoon at the Fond du Lac Police Department. The public is welcome to attend.
