FDL School Board Meets For First Time In New Year

The Fond du Lac School Board will meet today(1/10/2022), while a COVID update is on the agenda, there does not appear to be any discussion scheduled right now, on taking the district back to a virtual teaching model.

Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Fleig announced last week that the district would be implementing a mask mandate through January 24th, due to an increase in COVID cases among both staff and students within the district.

In a letter sent to families, Dr. Fleig said “it’s likely there will me a move to remote learning” if the mask mandate was not put into place.

Fleig also noted that the Board of Education will determine whether or not it will be extended past January 24.
