FDLFR Brat Fry Raises Money For The Red Cross

Fond du Lac Fire Department officials presented local representatives from the American Red Cross with a check for just under $5,400 ($5,395.83). The check was presented during the City Council meeting last week. Lieutenant Jason Roberts and Fire Chief Peter O’Leary presented the check to Peter Sensenbrenner and Steve Hansen of the Northeast Wisconsin chapter of the Red Cross. Roberts thanked those who supported the May 12th brat fry that generated the money for the check. He thanked the sponsors and businesses that supported the effort and the community members who stopped by that day. Hansen says they appreciate the check, which will help them with the services they provide to residents. He says the dollars are huge for them helping get people back on their feet when they are going through one of the worst days in their lives. (Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue photo).
