Feyen Bill Aiming to Save Taxpayers Money on Corporate Moving Costs Passes Senate

A bill authored by State Senator Dan Feyen of Fond du Lac passed the Senate with bipartisan support on Wednesday. Assembly Bill 10 would ensure that taxpayers are not forced to subsidize the moving costs for companies leaving the state or country. “Our tax dollars should not be wasted on subsidizing the moving costs for companies who are trying to leave the state,” Feyen said. “I look forward to seeing this legislation signed into law and seeing the positive effects it will have on Wisconsin taxpayers.” Feyen added that “one of the best ways to boost our economy is to encourage businesses to stay right here in the state of Wisconsin and invest in our future.”
