Final Day To Turn In Election Paperwork Is 1/4/2022
Tomorrow (1/4/2022) is the final day potential candidates have to turn in their required paperwork, if they are going to run in the upcoming Spring election.
The April 5th ballots will feature local races involving the Fond du Lac City Council, School Board, and Fond du Lac County Board, as well as statewide races for Judicial Court of Appeals.
There will be at least 4 open seats on Council, with Ben Giles and Arletta Allen already announcing they won’t run for reelection.
Donna Richards turned in her paperwork stating she will seek reelection.
Current council president Kay Miller is not eligible to run again, due to term limits.
We will see a number of new faces on the Fond du Lac County Board, with 5 current board members announcing they won’t run. They include Martin Farrell, Robert Giese, Thomas Kitchen, Lisette Aldrich, and Brian Kolstad.
Brooke Hills, who currently represents District 16, can’t run in the district, due to recent redistricting. She’s now located in District 4.
