Final results in for Partisan Primary
Results are in for the areas partisan primary election held yesterday and the stage is set for the general election in November.
Eric Hovde won the republican bid with over 85% of the votes over two other competitors to go up against Democrat Tammy Baldwin in the US Senate race.
District 6 Congressman Republican Glen Grothman and Democrat John Zarbano each ran uncontested in their parties for that congressional seat.
Current State Senator Republican Dan Feyen beat out Timothy Ramthun in District 20 and will go up against Democrat Michael Rapp who ran unopposed on the Democrat side.
Republican Tony Phillips defeated Blong Yang and will go up against Democrat Kristin Alfheim for Wisconsin Senate District 18.
Republican Lindee Rae Brill inched out Brian Hilbelink by 2 % of the votes and will go up against Democrat Kay Ladson for Wisconsin State Assembly for District 27.
Republican Mark Born goes up against Democrat LaToya Bates in the Wisconsin State Assembly for District 37 race.
Republican Alex Dallman will match up with Democrat Chris Gordon for the Wisconsin State Assembly for District 39.
Republican Robert Brooks and Democrat Jack Holzman will be competing for Wisconsin State Assembly for District 59.
And current Wisconsin State Assembly Republican for District 60 Jerry O’Connor goes up against Democrat Joe Lavrenz. Both ran unopposed for their party.
