Fire destroys garage and vehicle, damages attached home in Sheboygan County

Just after 11:30 PM on Friday, July 5, 2024, the Waldo and Cascade Fire Departments were called to a garage fire at 736 Pheasant Run in the village of Waldo.

Upon arrival, it was found the fire in the attached garage had spread to the eaves of the attached house. The call was upgraded to a MABAS call, which brings in mutual aid from surrounding community fire departments.

The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation. There were no injuries reported by the occupants of the residence.

The following fire departments assisted in this incident: Waldo, Town of Sheboygan Falls, City of Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Oostburg, Cedar Grove, Cascade, Glenbeulah, and the Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Unit. Other public safety agencies that assisted in this incident: Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department and Plymouth Ambulance.
