Fire destroys Sheboygan County barn

A barn in Sheboygan County was destroyed by fire Thursday night, December 5, 2024.

At around 6:40 PM the Elkhart Lake Fire Department was dispatched to the fire at N7950 Willow Road for the fire. Upon arrival, crews found the barn fully engulfed in flames so mutual aid was requested through the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System or MABAS, which brings in partial departments from surrounding communities. In total, 20 departments were paged for the fire with Mt Calvary and New Holstein of Fond du Lac County sending trucks.

No details have been released on the cause of the fire or what was in the barn.
