Fire destroys Sheboygan County barn

A barn fire in central Sheboygan County Monday, March 24, 2025, drew in fire fighters from half a dozen fire departments.

Around 6:20 PM the Sheboygan county dispatch center received a call advising that flames and smoke could be seen coming from the barn located at 1319 County Road PP, which is just south of the City of Plymouth.

Upon arrival, Deputies found the barn fully engulfed. The barn contained machinery as well as some cats. As a result of the fire, eight of those cats were found deceased and equipment inside was destroyed.

No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is believed to be due to an electrical issue.
