Fire Destroys Waupun Barn

Fire destroyed a barn on Amity Road in the Town of Waupun Thursday afternoon. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Mike Nolan says the barn at N4367 Amity Road did house one horse at the time of the blaze. The horse did not survive the fire. No one was injured fighting the fire. The barn was a complete loss.  The cause of the fire is being determined, but does not appear to be suspicious. Fire departments from Waupun, Alto, Brandon-Fairwater, Eldorado, Lamartine, Oakfield and Rosedale fought the blaze. James Davison is the owner of the property. The time of the fire call was 4:02 p.m.
