Fire reported overnight at Fond du Lac Culvers restaurant

The City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Department responded to Culvers at 81 west Pioneer Road just before 2 AM Friday, April 26, 2024, for a report of some workers that were welding on the roof and some sparks caused a fire in the attic.

Upon arrival fire crews found smoke and flames coming from the roof area in the middle of the structure.

Crews were able to open holes in the ceiling in multiple areas to access the fire. Once access was made, the fire was quickly extinguished.

According to the fire department, the building sustained smoke and water damage. The fire department remained on scene until 4:15 this morning.
