Fire significantly damages house in Beaver Dam

No one was injured in a house fire yesterday in the City of Beaver Dam.

At about 8:45 a.m., the Beaver Dam Fire Department along with Beaver Dam Police responded to 306 North Street after receiving calls of a house there with smoke and flames showing.

First arriving crews found the rear of the house engulfed in flames and put out a request for mutual aid from area fire departments.

Fire fighters remained on scene for several hours to ensure there were no hot spots that could reignite.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
