Five Charged With Drug Related Death In Ripon

Four Ripon residents and a Monroe Resident have been charged with an April death of an 18 year old Ripon man.

The 21-count, criminal complaint filed with Fond du Lac County Courts says the defendants provided the man with fentanyl-laced narcotics on April 7th of this year, observed him overdose, failed to provide or call for medical assistance, and left him on the sidewalk on Scott and Stanton Streets in the City of Ripon where he died.

Some of the charges against the defendants include, First Degree Reckless Homicide party to a crime, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics and Obstructing an Officer.

According to Ripon Police Chief William Wallner, every officer at the department was involved in some way with this case, and acknowledged their hard work and dedication to bring the case to conclusion.
