Flags at Half Staff for Former Legislator

Flags are flying at half-staff across the state today to honor the life of a former state legislator. 77-year old Mike Ellis died last month after serving 44 years in the state Legislature, including a dozen in the Assembly and 32 years in the Senate, where he also served at both the majority and minority leader. A memorial service for Ellis is also set for today.
