Flood Relief – How to Donate
For those looking to help out the people impacted by flooding around Fond du Lac over the last few days, there are options available for your donations of cash and supplies. The United Way is currently accepting financial donations that will be allocated as needed to assist in recovery. Make a check out to the United Way of Fond du Lac with “FDL Flooding” in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to 74 South Main Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. You can also make donations online at fdlunitedway.com and click on the check box for flood relief. The United Way will also be establishing a volunteer center when the greatest needs for the community are determined.
Donated supplies and materials are being accepted through the Fond du Lac Salvation Army. People are welcome to donate cleaning supplies (bleach/cleaning solutions, bath/shower cleaner, paper towel, Lysol, toilet cleaner, scrub brushes, buckets, mops, carpet cleaning certificates, drycleaning services/certificates, etc). Or food for the food pantry (peanut butter, box meals (mac ‘n cheese, mashed potatoes, etc. canned meat (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.), juice (bottles 48 ounce – 64 ounce), canned pasta with meat (ravioli , spagettios), breakfast cereals, bottled water).
